From this page you could access every Georgia state online birth database, such as birth records, Georgia birth certificates, birth notices, Georgia birth indexes, and other records.
The Georgia Department of Community Health, The Office of Vital Records provides certificates for vital events such as birth, still birth, death, marriage, and divorces that occur statewide. The office files records for births and deaths from 1919 to the present. Some counties may have older records in their files for vital events that happened there.
Only following persons can order a certified copy of a birth certificate:
- The person or parents named on the record
- The spouse of the person
- Grandparents of the person
- An adult child or sibling of the person
- An agent or a legal guardian of the person
Required information:
- Full name of child shown on the record
- City or county of birth
- Date of birth
- Sex of the person
- Current age
- Race (optional)
- Full name of father
- Full name of mother (include maiden last name)
- Relationship to the person
Send your order, fee ($15.00 for a certified copy) and a copy of a legal photo ID through mail to the Vital Records Office addressed at:
